Hedgie's prompts

I am being very good and getting ahead of myself. Here are all of Hedgie's prompts:

Favourite TV Programme
My fave TV programme is FiFi and the Flowertots. Zoe loves watching it too. I love it because it is so bright and colourful and happy.
Favourite Cartoon Character
This is an easy one - I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I would love to go to Disneyland and I know so would Zoe, but Claire says it is very expensive! What a misery she is!!!
Favourite sport to watch
Rugby - I love watching those big muscly men running around in their tight shorts and Johnny Wilkinson is to die for.
Favourite sport to play
I love to rollerskate - it is such fun and good exercise too. It is how I stay so trim.
Carer's sport
Claire is into some weight loss thing and seems to exercising all the time - hence why I am being so neglected! Here are her new running trainers.
Boat
I could quite go off Hedgie. We found a boat and Claire thought I could sail round the bird bath but the minute she put me on the water I started to sink - do you know how cold that water is. If I get a cold, then I will blame Hedgie!!!
Easter Egg
I love chocolate and I was given this egg by Zoe after she did her Easter Egg hunt - isn't she kind?

Musicals catchup

We are 2 weeks behind on the prompts so we have had some photo shoots this morning and here goes for a mammoth catch up.

Mamma Mia
I don't have any family of my own but I found this beautiful lady who I would like to be my mum. Her hair is so long, silky and glossy and her skin is perfect.
Sister Act
And then I found this little girl who would make a perfect younger sister.
Wicked
We all went to Costa yesterday afternoon and James and Zoe shared a bag of mini muffins. These two were left over - just for me maybe? Wicked!!!
Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang
I have found another car and this one comes with a chauffeur!
Dirty Dancing
I need to find myself a man and get out more. I love dancing and have put on my fave party dress. I need to get down and dirty soon before I go mad! Any offers?
We Will Rock You
This little pig knocks out some banging tunes and I love to dance around him.
Hairspray
I am having a bad hair day today and so need to wear a hat. No amount of hairspray is going to help me!

Duckie's posts - Gardening related

Every garden may have some weeds.
The garden in our new house has been pretty neglected over the years, but I found these pretty little weeds today.
Let's get down and dirty.
Oooh look what I found when I was snooping round the garden - yeuch!!! And we don't even have a dog.
Scatter seeds of happiness.
Zoe insisted on buying some seeds the other day as she wants to grow some flowers - mind you they haven't been planted yet.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Look at these tiny little daffodils. I am not very tall but even sitting down, I am much bigger than them. Aren't they cute?
You should compost because a rind is a terrible thing to waste.
James has been cutting back some of the bushes and stuff and has made a big pile of it all. But I found this big bin behind it which I presume is a compost bin. Trouble is there was so many cuttings in front that I couldn't get near it to see what it was like inside. Another left over from the previous owners.
I never promised you a rose garden.
Claire assures me that this is a rose bush - I will wait and see!
There is never enough thyme.
We are not ones to grow our own herbs so I had to have a scrummage through the food cupboards and this is the closest thing I could find.

What have you recycled today?

In our new house, the recycling is pretty poor. We have a tiny rectangular bin for bottles and tins and papers have to go in a bag. They don't take any cardboard - rubbish. Here is our recycling for the week.

What is your favourite children's games and why?

I love to play Twister as I can beat anyone seeing as I am so bendy

Saturday night is DVD night, what is your favourite film?

Well seeing as I am made of plastic and very flexible, it has to Bend It Like Beckham.

Monkey's Prompts Part 1

This the prompts have been set by Monkey and I am pleased to say that they are much easier than Bongo's.

"There are signs of Spring starting to show, go outside and see what you can see"
Opposite our house is a field and in front is a verge and there is a big clump of Snowdrops. Claire keeps on about how lovely they are so she dragged me out in the cold, with no coat on, to do a quick photoshoot.
"No week is complete without a bit of extreme sporting. Try something extreme today and tell me how you got on - it might give me some new ideas to try!"
Today was so lovely that it was decided that we go down to the seaside and walk along the seafront from Shore Road at Sandbanks to Branksome Chine. Zoe was on her bike and I sneaked a ride. It is quite an extreme sport and she is lethal. She goes so fast and doesn't look where she is going.

Dr Seuss Prompts Part 2

Bongo has really made Claire think this week!!!
"I like nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells"
Well Claire is studying every box, packet and packaging of everything that passes her lips. I tried reading it but it makes no sense to me. Then she types all this stuff into the computer. She says wants to look as skinny as me! Between me and you, I think she is a bit obsessive compulsive!"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you."
Looking good as always! I love hair today - it is so thick and shiny - so very glossy.
"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try"
I haven't got a clue what this means but I was high up in Zoe's Weebles Castle. You get a great view from up here. I could see James was still in bed!
"Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one"
Zoe and I always manage to have fun together. Wonder what we shall do today?
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go"
Well I have had a good look round and I cannot find any intellectual reading, just a lot of trashy chick lit books - so these will have to do for now.

Dr Suess Prompts from Bongo Part 1

This week the prompts have been set by Bongo and they are all quotes from Dr Suess.

"From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere"
For those of you who live with the pesky small people, there are always lots of funny things everywhere. I found these two odd looking fellas on the kitchen shelf. I think they used to have ice cream in them - no sign of it now though!
"Just tell yourself, Duckie, you're really quite lucky"
Getting a kiss from me - how more lucky can you be?

The rest of Paula's prompts

Unusual form of transport.
Whilst wondering around the TV room I found this fella, so I thought I would jump on.
My own mode of transport.
I have already posted about my soft top car, so I thought I would show my other mode of transport
Craft Tool I most like to use.
I know my hair always looks so luscious and thick but can I let you into a little secret? It is a wig and I have to glue it into place. Looked what happened when I first got to Farnborough last week - so my favourite tool has to be glue!Stroke any stash:
Seeing as I have such a love of glue, Claire thought it would be a good idea to get me into a craft of my own - so I am going to try Deco Patch - watch this space to see how I get on.
Crafting embellishment that best reflects me.
Easy - it has to be rubber stamps see I am made of rubber!

I love these guys!

Mode of Transport

Today I was allowed out of Claire's bag to ride up on the dashboard - James drives very fast! It was thrilling!!!

T is for Toys

For my second T of the week, it has to be T for Toys. Today I met up with my fellow toys at the Farnborough Craft Show. Everyone was there except Clemmie - he was greatly missed! Here we are taking a ride in Shirley's Hot Dog box.

T is for Tea

Claire drinks this stuff like it is going out of fashion so T is for Tea but it doesn't have to be a Tuesday to see one of these to Claire - more like anytime, anywhere!
W is for Weigh In
And I have not put any weight on!!!!

M is for Molly

This is Molly and she looks so snuggly that I thought that I would try having a cuddle with her, but she bit me on the head! Ouch!!!!

F is for....

Mary has set the prompts this week and we have to do something each day beginning with the first letter of the day. So today is Friday and so I have to post something beginning with F.
So F is for freezing and so here I am sat snuggled up under a blanket.

More colours

I was a bit worried that these colour prompts would be all pink or yellow answers but luckily I was inspired by Monkey's post using the Go-Gos. So I found Zoe's Go-Gos this afternoon and had a play with them and the camera.
Happy colour:
I looked up on the internet for what was a happy colour and it said yellows and oranges. Well as I have already said I hate yellow so I found this cute little orange smiley Go-Go.
Angry colour:
And I also found this angry little green chap too.
Claire's favourite colour:
Easy - she loves pink, hence why she loves me so much!
